POMPANO BEACH, FL - Nov 29, 2006-Current Builders' corporate office has received the prestigious honor of being selected and awarded with the "SHARP" designation.

On Wednesday, Nov 29 at 3 pm Current Builders was presented with a special award from OSHA, designating Current Builders as a "SHARP" site. The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) recognizes employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. Acceptance into SHARP by OSHA is an achievement of status that singles Current Builders out among their peers as a model for worksite safety and health.
According to CEO, Chip Reid, "We feel the obligation of making sure that everyone who leaves their family en route to the workplace, has the best chance of returning to their loved ones safely at the end of the day. This comes from a corporate culture of safety and health that is understood and supported, by every single employee, company wide."
Already previously recognized by the South Florida Associated General Contractors (SFAGC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a charter member and designee of the C.H.A.S.E. (Construction Health and Safety Excellence) program, Current Builders continues to chart new territory in the field of construction safety and health.
