Current Builders- Leading the Way in Construction Safety
On September 4, 2003 at 11:00 am, Current Builders will unveil the C.H.A.S.E. Red Level Banner at their new construction site located at 800 North Dixie Highway, Lantana, Florida. The South Florida Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are expected to attend.
CHASE stands for Construction Health and Safety Excellence and is a partnership developed throughout the United States by the AGC and OSHA. The goal of CHASE is to reduce by 5% annually, the number of injuries, illnesses and fatalities resulting from those hazards that are the leading causes of death on construction sites. Local AGC Chapters then develop a written agreement with the local OSHA office to engage general contractors and subcontractors into the program.
There are stringent eligibility requirements and criteria to be met in order to be considered for this rating. Current Builders is one of only 6 general contractors to receive the CHASE designation in the State of Florida. This exemplifies the Current Builders commitment to the safety and health of their employees.
Current Builders is a Florida based general contractor with offices in Pompano Beach, Naples, and Tampa.
