Current Builders Outstanding Safety and Health Efforts Rewarded with OSHA White Level C.H.A.S.E Designation
POMPANO BEACH, FL - MARCH 21. 2005-On March 7, 2005 the Associated General Contractors of America South Florida Chapter (S.F.A.G.C.) and the Construction Health and Safety Excellence (C.H.A.S.E.) Review Committee elevated Current Builders to a participating partner in the C.H.A.S.E. White Level Program. To be eligible for this honor, Current Builders has displayed an outstanding safety and health program that is reviewed against stringent standards. Current Builders also achieved an accident rate at least 10% below the national average.
C.H.A.S.E. is a partnership developed by the AGC and OSHA. The goal of CHASE is to reduce by 5% annually the number of injuries, illnesses and fatalities affecting the participating employer, with an emphasis on reducing injuries and fatalities resulting from those hazards that are the 4 leading causes of death on construction sites.
Current Builders helped forge the agreement and is one of the charter members awarded the designation. Applications for level designations are submitted and the status is determined by peer review. Current Builders is one of only 6 general contractors to receive a CHASE designation in Florida.
In September 2003, after careful review of the safety program and results, Current Builders was first accepted into the CHASE Partnership as a Red level Partner. Through their continuous improvement programs, the elevation to White Level Partnership exemplifies the Current Builders commitment to safety and health of their employees.
Current Builders also has offices in Tampa and Naples.
