Current Builders CEO, Charles P. Reid wins University of Florida's Distinguished Builder Award and is elected to Construction Hall of Fame.
POMPANO BEACH, FL - March 1, 2006 - Hard work, dedication and corporate success are only some of the accomplishments of Current Builder's leader, Chip Reid. The M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction College of Design, Construction and Planning at The University of Florida recently announced the selection of Mr. Reid as the recipient of the 2006 Distinguished Builder Award and his election into the Construction Hall of Fame. This honor is awarded to individuals who have truly distinguished themselves in the construction profession. Only members of the Construction Hall of Fame can nominate and vote for those persons to receive the award. Nominees need not only be distinguished because they build quality buildings and projects and have the esteem of their peers as well as the owners for whom they build, but also need to be active in their profession, serving as officers in professional organizations and be active in their community. "As a former graduate of the University of Florida's School of Building Construction, I hold a special feeling of honor and gratitude for this recognition." Chip Reid will now hold the responsibility of serving on the Construction Hall of Fame and Distinguished Builder Committee for upcoming years.
Current Builders also has offices in Tampa and Naples.
