Self-Performed Structures includes tunnel form, conventional forming systems supported by reinforced masonry, post-tensioned slabs supported by flying forms, tilt-up construction and precast joist assemblies. Current Builders performs these operations as CB Structures.

- Tunnel Form

Tunnel form construction is a system of casting concrete walls and slabs simultaneously using steel forms that join together at the top and sides. The steel tunnel forms, equipment and manpower used for this operation efficiently produce between 2,500 to 5,000 square feet of elevated slab are daily, including the support walls. All formwork, equipment and manpower perform the same functions repetitively each day - resulting in shorter schedules and lower costs. Tunnel form construction if perfect for use in building low-, mid-, and high-rise apartment, condominium and hotel structures. Historically, for Current Builders (CB), tunnel forms are one of the safest, quickest and most efficient forming systems. Tilt-up concrete construction is among the full range of services that Current Builders (CB) has to offer. We have completed millions of square feet of tilt-up Office/Industrial warehouse in 8 business parks. CB brings unique capabilities to tilt-up projects where they have the ability to self-perform the concrete tilt panel operations. At CB, our staff includes "Green Friendly" LEED certified individuals who have demonstrated a thorough understanding of Green Building practices and principals and the LEED Rating System. - Parking Garages

Current Builders has completed in excess of 1,500,000 square feet in structured parking garages, using virtually every available structural system including cast in place long span post tension beams, precast joist, cast in place flat plate post tensioning, steel castellated beams, and precast structures. With a broad base of historical knowledge we can assist owners in selecting the most efficient design - taking into consideration cost, durability and time of construction. Design-Build is a delivery system that is now preferred by many owners and Current Builders has teamed with some of the most experienced designers and engineers in the country to streamline the process. With conceptual plans and design in 3D Revit architecture, we provide an early GMP and include the owners in each step of the process through a collaborative Share Point site. When projects require a cast-in-place system, CB Structures self performs a garage-beam system where column and beam connections are cast in place and the resulting beam system allows 66' clear span for column-free construction in parking and drive lane areas. This highly durable system is suited for areas where corrosion of a column/beam connection or welding of twin tees may be a concern due to long-term maintenance costs associated with these systems.
