Standards of Excellence: Intranet
Current Builders' project management staff have access to our in-house Intranet site that contains all the necessary unified forms required for starting and maintaining a new project such as managing contract negotiations, submittals, meeting minutes, job logs, changes, insurance, safety, RFI's, schedules, project close-out checklists, warranties, maintenance manuals, correspondence, etc.
Management also has access via our Intranet site to electronically view contract qualifications and specifications. This method assures that the authorized version of these documents can be examined for consistency with on-site contract documents. In addition, a familiarity can be established by the management staff with controlling a project and its critical path that is directly transferable to the teams' subsequent projects.
Current Builders uses the latest versions of Primavera "Expedition" Project Management and Scheduling software that interfaces with our Intranet documents. These consistent processes allow for detailed project management documentation and assist in the monthly creation of our Executive Summary Report which provides Owners with up-to-date detailed project information. In many instances our Owner/Clients have access to our collaborative project management software via Internet access. This provides a secure environment which allows them to stay fully in-tune with their own project and obtain an overall "snapshot" view at any time.
